2026-10-05Obrtnica 2.0.0 makes it easier to work across several Organizations: register a new one without signing out, reuse your setup as a template, and switch between them from a searchable list. It also adds managed numbering series, a public service status page, and a set of fixes for invoicing and messages.
## Obrtnica 2.0.0
If you keep the books for more than one company, part of every day goes into moving between them, setting each one up and keeping numbering consistent. Obrtnica 2.0.0 removes some of that friction.
### Work across several Organizations
You can now register another Organization from the workspace menu while you are signed in, and go straight into its setup. Once you have set up a company the way you like, save that setup as a template. Modules, chart of accounts, controls and account mappings carry over to the next Organization. Company details are never copied, and you still confirm them for each new Organization.
Switching is quicker too. The Organization switcher in the header is searchable, you can pin the Organization you want to open at sign-in, and favorites stay at the top of the list.
### Numbering you control
Numbering series for documents and record codes are now managed in one place, under Organization → Master data → Record serializations. On supported forms, such as items, warehouses, payroll runs and stock transfers, leave the number empty and Obrtnica assigns the next one from the series. If you need a specific number, type it in.
### Setup that starts from your chart of accounts
During setup you can import your own chart of accounts from a CSV file, or start with an empty chart instead of a bundled one. If an account is missing while you map accounts, create it on the spot. A saved setup template keeps that chart for the next Organization.
### Clearer lists
- **Chart of accounts:** accounts are shown as a tree. Select several accounts and the footer shows their combined balance. Positive and negative balances are color-coded.
- **Selling and Buying:** browse documents as a tree and preview the one you select, or stay in the familiar table view.
- **Invoice lists:** view, edit, post, preview, download and print-layout actions sit together in one row.
### Service status, in the open
[status.obrtnica.ba](https://status.obrtnica.ba) shows the current state of Obrtnica services, planned maintenance and public incidents, with an archive of past incidents. It is available in Bosnian, English and German.
### Messages in your language
Error messages now follow the language you chose: Bosnian, English or German.
### Fixes
- Adding a customer or supplier directly from an invoice now keeps the currency and status you set.
- After you choose a customer or supplier on a new invoice, their primary address and contact are shown.
- In invoice lists, double-click opens the document and the pencil icon opens it for editing.
- Message previews in the inbox now show the latest message without a page refresh.
- The "Include archived" filter on master-data lists now shows clearly when it is on.
